I just got into a situation where it was actually reasonable to do so. I made a shitty joke and some younger people got my information and accused me of being a pedophile for it, even though I wasn't. I was able to get them to delete the information they fished out of me when I was apologizing, but only because I tried to make them responsible for their actions, too, by giving a long suicide threat. Anyone been in similar situations?
