• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I wish there was some kind of drug that just kills all emotions. I'd rather just be numb at this point.

I can relate to wanting this, but I'd assume this drug would backfire somehow, I think you need some emotion to function, I don't know.

Lithium does that for me. Not the normal dosage. But the dosages I'd get when I repeatedly slammed my head against the door and threatened the guards did.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Consciousness can be a nightmare and our minds can torture us.However I do feel numb a lot of the time and it honestly isn't much better than strong emotions.

I just started taking lithium orotate. It is a more natural form and you don't need larger doses (which can lead to toxicity).

Let your psychiatrist take the wheel and you'll get there. They've got me on like 10 meds and the majority of the morning I can't feel anything.
I believe the major players in this are Lithium,Lorazepam,Saphris and Luvox. the others are meh..

I wish there was at least a way to kill the tears, my crying is violent, involuntary, it swells my eyes and face to a painful degree, it's also an inconvenience when I'm trying to advocate for myself, it's daily and I desperately need a fucking break from it.
At this point, I wish I could cry out of my damn elbows, just leave my poor busted eyelids alone.
Those things had the ability to annihilate any self awareness, to the point I could have very well left the house naked and not even realized it, nor cared..which is disturbing and dangerous.
A great deal of stupid ass shit also left my mouth while on those things, as well as others.
All psych meds made me worse while not serving even the basic purpose of limiting certain emotions or the physical manifestations of such.
I hear that they do have a numbing effect on some people, but in my case, they obviously numbed the wrong areas of my brain.
The only pills I'm willing to take now, of that kind, are 'take as you need them' fast acting anxiety medication, or a prescription to straight up knock me out so I can sleep.
Everything else only serves to harm me.
I can relate to wanting this, but I'd assume this drug would backfire somehow, I think you need some emotion to function, I don't know.
Balance is key, if only it were that easy.

My experience with olanzapine is pretty bleak as well. All its good for is knocking me out for two days- its the only reason they keep me prescribed.
I only use it for the big anxiety attacks/psychotic episodes that atiavan/atarax wont help with.
