• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

If you're interested in losing a bottle of n for a generous donation and you can prove it's legit then dm me. I need N sooooooooo bad and Bitcoin and western union arent options for me which means I can't get it from the source. Im suffering immensely and need to leave ASAP which means I'm gonna end up having to do a painful or unreliable method if I don't source my own soon.

Sorry about this… I'm just desperate and it's worth a shot. Im not trying to hijack your thread.
I can't help you, I'm sorry.

... I don't think it's appropriate to ask for users stuff, especially on their vent thread.

@OP

I'm sorry you're in this situation. At least you have a very good way to leave. N is very peaceful and it's almost certain.

Your sister seems good. Are you sure you want to leave? Depending on what you can do regarding your parents, maybe you can still keep going. I don't know.

I wish you the best

No need to apologize - I understand how things can get and totally understand where the person is coming from.

My main concern is my little sister, who is the previously mentioned sister in this thread. Our parents suck. i'm just trying the best to build something she can get started and/or live off of, depending how long I last. My little sister is the most important thing in my life. My step sister is an angel. I feel like I will drag her + my biological sister down eventually, which is why I'm planning to leave before that can happen.

It seems a very tough situation. It's always very hard to be in shoes of any of us, else none of us would be considering ctb.

Both of your sisters will miss you deeply and it's very nice of you wanting to build something for them. I hope you manage to either keep on living or give the best life you can for your sisters.

I do not know know how could you do that. But one thing is for certain, memories is in the list of things to build. Spending as much time as you can with them will help. And it will hell you as well of course.

I hope everything works out for you.

I can imagine it must be a relief having N, as at least you have the option to exit peacefully at a time of your own choosing. I understand it is hard to carry on when you are tired of everything. Whatever happens, I wish you the best.

I think it's incredibly sweet to consider your sister's wellbeing while you're suffering so much. I wish you the best of luck with whatever outcome you want.

@emmarg if you plan on leaving anything to your sister, it is critically important you write a will and name her as the sole beneficiary. I'm not sure which country you're in, but in the US, without a will, your possessions and assets would go to your parents. The will would have to be notarized, and you should make several copies, including a digital scan.

Also, if you're in the US, and you trust your sister, you should have a joint bank account with her. This way, when you die, she has instant access to the money, and it doesn't have to be decided in probate court.

And if you are in the US you can have a Pay On Death Beneficiary instead of a joint account. Easy to add a beneficiary and no chance your evil parents will steal it.

I'm really sorry that you went through that. It's very kind of you to think about your sister's wellbeing and save money for her when you're struggling.

hi both, I actually have a legal background so I have all of this covered. It's wonderful you're letting people know abt this bc they often don't. I'll be sure to carry this on when I can :)

@emmarg I'm sorry to hear what your mom did to you. It takes a real coward to use overwhelming physical force against someone. Sent you a pm for the rest of this message - don't need to bring any heat on ss from nyt/pbs/ft36.

We have so much more strength when we have someone to fight for. I admire your strength.

There are few things more depressing than doing a will and realising that even my closest friends, the recipients, have abandoned me. Wish I had a little sister. All the best to you.
