Discussion Does the idea of people on this forum going away/ctb ever make you sad?

I only show up here sporadically, but I've found a sense of community, support, and validation here I haven't found almost anywhere else (maybe a couple of very good therapists). Don't get me wrong, I don't wish to interfere in anyone's decision one way or the other, but I see the struggles everyone here is going through . . . on one hand it makes me feel not so alone, on the other hand it breaks my heart and makes me wish I could fix everyone's problems. The idea of some of you no longer being around makes me sad. Whatever you do, and whatever it counts for, just know that at least one fucked up person cared at least little bit .

Seeing the goodbye threads hurts. Seeing accounts from people whose posts I appreciated wink out. Sometimes even people I shared DMs with. It's tragic really.

That's fair. I still feel bad in that I wish they never had to suffer in the first place, and if they had to suffer I wish they could have found relief a good life they were happy with. And even if they found peace, it still makes me sad to see good people go

yeahhh, I get what you mean~ >_< I'm mostly just glad that other people than just me have it awful too~ :) because I don't see that at all irl! >_< When people post goodbye threads, I just try to comfort them a little~ :) but it can be really awful when someone you're close to goes away! D: and ofc, people like that know that telling you is a bad idea too! >_<
thankfully, you can kinda give advice to people here if you wish~ :) ofc, it's up to them to take it or not! You can also be sympathetic and empathetic with others when no one else in their irl life is, showing that someone does care some for them~ :) So that helps me feel nice sometimes too~ :)

yeah, it's kinda crazy! :) People come and go~ :) Many of them don't even sewer slide but get better and leave this place~ :) very few people end up staying here for the long haul~ >_<

Seeing people living with such much pain and suffering makes me said. I respect people's decision on how they wish to deal with that. What ever people choose, I wish you the best and hope you can find peace, however that may be.

In the end people have the right to choose what ever path they wish to make to find peace. Someone dying is always going to be sad even more so if they are good people but it's not fair to make people suffer just for an individuals selfish desire to be happy at the expense of other people's pain and suffering.

It's always seemed messed up to me how the bad people in this world are the ones that live with no issues but the good people are the ones who end up suffering the most.

Maybe they can find peace in life but some people can only find peace in death. The crappie world we live in means not every one wants to stay and rather then cover up the effect that is suicide then Maybe people should work on fixing the cause of someone's pain and suffering In the first place.

The only person who I can speak for is myself. Suicide has been an option for a while now. Ive had different attempts and the only reason why I'm still here is because I failed at every attempt. I hope one day I can find peace my self and my only option at the moment is suicide.

This means one day if I'm finally successful, I wont be here any more because I killed my self and it will be my own hand thats the cause of my death. I'm not prepared to take other people with me. I'm the only one who should be going down with a sinking ship as I now see it.

I guess I will just become another number to add to the statistics
