I have read somewhere in this forum that GERD and ulcer and SN does not have a good relation with each other and GERD can cause asthma attack and hard breathing after drinking SN.
and I also see this : ( As someone with asthma I'm sure my throat would close up if I swallowed SN. Lots of people with mild asthma don't know they have it. Think of it as hyper reactive airways. Swallowing SN creates a gas in the stomach that escapes up the throat and some are sensitive to this and have throat swelling shut like an asthma attack. )
