Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It's something I've noticed fairly recently where I swear my stimming wasn't as intense before but around the time I increased in suicidalility I started doing stuff like loudly kicking my chair, stabbing my hand palm with a pen and just general increase in normal stims. It's not a problem really because it works well but I probably look like an idiot so closure would be nice.

I would say for me stimming does increase. For me, it's to do with the fact that if I'm suicidal, I am usually more distressed or there's an issue or change I am out of control of, so the stimming increases as an attempt at regulating the distress

So like some subconscious thingy that's making it so I don't kill myself that quickly?

I wouldn't say it's specifically related to suicide, but stimming by default is a protective measure against overwhelming situations/overstimulation
