Not right now, I'm not feeling great or motivated to do anything really, but just whenever.
I just recently started playing Don't Starve actually and don't have much experience besides gathering stuff yet, I have yet to set up a proper base, but I can survive for a long time just day to day gathering materials and building a fire pit and science machine near rabbits. I have yet to set up an advanced base though.
Anyway, Don't Starve Together was on sale for $5 on Steam over the weekend and came with a free extra copy so I have one I can give to someone and I have no friends. I love the solo game so far even though I still have a lot to learn on the more advanced side of things.
I saw that there was a whole other separate multiplayer version of the game and just got it since it was so cheap and came with an extra so I thought I might try to find another person or persons to play with and decided I want to try here first. You can have a group/party of up to 6 people per game. But you can have multiple games going at a time. I think. I have an older laptop that I really don't want to mess up so I don't plan on using any mods, just fyi. It seems like a very popular game, I know it's been around for for a while.
Just kind of putting this out there. I've been kinda obsessed with it (the single player one) for the past week or so and it's been a good distraction when I've had the energy and motivation. You'd be playing with a noob though.
If by chance you do want to, we could use Discord or if you have another preference to communicate while playing, that's good with me. Unless the game already has its own coordinating or in-game way to communicate in it, I haven't played it yet.
Also if you do want to play and don't already have it, I will send the copy to whoever says they want it first in this thread. I'll go by timestamps so if more than one person says they want it, it will be clear who said it first. It is the PC version and Steam is necessary because it has to be transferred from my inventory to another's.
Even if you want the game to play with your friends or just by yourself, please let me know. I don't need 2 copies of it. You could probably play it single player. There's a lot more content than in Don't Starve from what I've read and have already seen just from the title screen.
And just to warn again, I've only been playing Don't Starve for about a week or so. I've built the science machine and a fire pit and usually just set up traps where I find a bunch of rabbits. Then I just spend the days gathering berries and carrots and trapping and killing rabbits and birds and gathering materials and just wandering around. I've been through a few wormholes- I haven't dealt with the other, larger animals or started an actual farm base and I haven't worked with an alchemy engine yet. I have watched YouTube videos for more details and I use the wiki.
Anyway, no pressure of course just figured I'd ask, got nothing to lose really.
I'm going to sleep now, but I'll check on this later tonight and if it turns out that anyone wants the extra, I'll send whoever said they wanted it first based on the timestamp of your thread post a message with my Steam ID.
Seriously, PLEASE don't feel obligated or pressured to play it with me if you just want the game. It's just gonna sit in my inventory so somebody should have it. Seriously, it has made hours seem to pass so fast lol. For me anyway. That's always helpful.
