I also have thoughts like this every day, and I don't really have an answer that will work 90% of the time. My best answer is to call someone. Not the hotline, just a buddy, a friend, your Mom. Whoever you have; it doesn't matter. Usually I talk about stupid shit until my thoughts are disrupted. But, where I have these thoughts every day, people get really tired about chatting 24/7 on the phone and will just get annoyed. I started joining busy discord services and joining the VC to idle or chat.
Another stupid thing is listening to Brown Noise on YouTube for like 10 hours. I have no idea why this helps me, but it does.
These don't work all the time, but they do sometimes (for me) and that's pretty cool. Hopefully you find something that works for you.
