Venting Does anyone else feel deeply invisible and alone?

Since I was about nine years old, I feel invisible. Like I was see-through. Like there's no reflection staring back at me in the mirror. Does anyone else feel that way?

I cannot truly relate because I have the almost opposite problem. I wish I wasn't a physical being, and that no one could see or look at me. But I can understand or at least imagine what you might be experiencing, and it seems like it's very hopeless and isolating. Is there anything that eases this feeling for you?

Not really. It's always there, like the distant barks of a neighbour's dog. It's like there's this hole in my body where my reflection should be.
