Does anybody else want to ctb on their birthday?

Today's my birthday and it seems like a great time to ctb so my family will only have to remember me by one date, but I probably will end up not doing it because I'm too chicken to.

I never thought about the fact that it would give people only one day to remember you, nice perspective. If I was more considerate I would have done that. Sadly I became so fed up with all that bullshit that I don't even care what happenes after me. I won't create uneccessary chaos or pain but I also won't wrap my death cleanly in order to alleviate others inconvenience. I had to deal with my life, deal with my death and move on.

I hadn't considered this but I'd love to go on my birthday. It'd be a great gift to myself. I don't think my family would appreciate it but I'd be proud to say I made it to 35.

My birthday is in November, NO ONE remembers it, not my family not my husband, but thinking about it, what a date to go out on!!! I believe in personally, born by water, live by water, die by water, now add birthday into that. Though sadly I don't think I could wait that long with how things are right now, but if it needs be its only a few weeks!! Got me thinking now!!

And I guess Happy birthday, though the word happy seems so false!

Oh yes. I would like to ctb on my birthday (September 23) on a landmark year (55, 60, 65) after I have successfully published at least one novel and outlived my poor mother. I am already 53 and the manuscript of my novel is still quite rough: also, Mom is in no imminent danger of dying. I will probably have to wait till I am 60 or 65 to ctb.

When I'm hateful enough, I'd rather CTB on a date that will ruin my family's merriment. But then I realize it won't ruin anything, it will just become a day where my memory is ignored and the holiday will be what everyone focuses on.

I would not ctb on my most hated day of the year, I see some people saying that its poetic, and I can get behind that 10p percent, but I hate my Birthday so much with the passion, I want to ctb before that dreadful day arrives. That is why I am planning to ctb this December, because 1. I dont want to make it to the new year, and 2. My Birthday is in January, also so close to my second most hated day of the year, V day. But yea, I do not want to experience any part of that day right before I ctb, I might depart in a painless way, but in no way would I have any peace if if my death were to share in the day of my birth. I know you're experiencing a lot of pain, but I hope you have a happy birthday anyway. You deserve a day of joy!

My birthday is in November, just before Thanksgiving. I also really enjoy the idea of going on my birthday, but I'm worried about ruining Thanksgiving for my loved ones, and not just this year, but in future years. Two days after my birthday is the anniversary of my best friend's death. That would also be an ideal day to go, but same issue.

What I'll likely end up doing is not so nice. In January is the birthday of the person who ruined my life. I'd like to ruin his birthday forever. I hate being vindictive, but I've just been so angry recently.

I get how you're feeling. I hate birthdays too. Its just another reminder that I was brought into this shitty world without my consent. More like, being forced to perhaps? I hope you find whatever you're looking for & your wish comes true.
Answering the question, yes it feels like an appealing idea to me to ctb on your own birthday. Mhmm..guess I'll have to reconsider my date (not that I've decided one yet)
