Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

As for mental health, oh boy, I ain't ever trusting doctors. I admit, I am paranoid that they'll brainwash me, rewriting my personality so I can be a happy little wage slave. (CBT is kinda just that though...) But mental health treatment is way more hit or miss than physical health treatment. There's too little known about mental health, we are playing med roulette with our prescribed drugs. I also just can't trust therapists to not talk about it. People breach NDAs all the time, people do things that can ruin their careers all the time. They are also paid to be nice and care, I can't trust what they say to me because there is money involved.

These are my exact thoughts about mental healthcare. Not that I've had much direct experience- thankfully but, I've heard too many horror stories to trust it.

I think the consensus here is really just:
Mental healthcare = Snake oil
Physical healthcare = Alright
I also just can't trust therapists to not talk about it.
Spot on with my thoughts honestly, rarely feel as if they'd have the courtesy not to speak about it after hours.

I've heard a small paper cut can cost upwards of 200 in America, so it's definitely a nightmare over there.

Doctors are just as human as we are. My level of trust depends on their level of experience.

...as long as I can buy drugs from them, sure, why not.
