During the summer, the thermostat was around 27C/81F on average. It's also in a medicine cabinet above a stove/oven that's turned on often. Do you think it's degraded?

The meto should be stored at a temperature between 15C and 30C, so I think it should still be fine.

Doesn't matter, almost the same
Alright, and do you think it being in a cabinet above a stove is an issue? Or being in the kitchen in general because of the sink with wet dishes air-drying? Sorry for being naive.

I guess the meto is not just laying there. Is it still packed up? If the package doesn't get too hot and if it's in a cabinet it should be no problem.

I opened it before, but it's still in a normal pill bottle.

It's probably ok, but I would move it somewhere else.

But it's already been there for months, if it's something I should move then that makes me worried it's too late.

I think that's flawed logic. It's like saying you shouldn't stop smoking to prevent cancer because you've already smoked for years anyway. Or the food that's in the oven should just continue to cook and burn because it's maybe a little dried out. The bad stuff hasn't happened yet, but oh well.

It's probably fine, but it would be wise to store it in less iffy conditions for the future to keep it that way.

Well, the only other place to keep it is a hotter and less ventilated room, with a scented air freshener in it if that matters in at all. Should I keep the bottle in a plastic bag?
