Do you feel you've lost your dignity?

Yes. If I had gone 10 years ago I would've gone with my dignity mostly intact.

And dying by drinking meat preservative and turning into a blueberry or most other ways doesn't necessarily help even if it won't matter.

Yes definitely, i think when you are chronically ill whatever the cause, be it depression or anything else, life can get extremely difficult. If you have attempted suicide in the past it can be difficult. Don't get me wrong some people can recover to various levels, and be quite healthy, that's not the case for some of us though.

i'll be turning into a blueberry soon too, my ego wont let me lose the crumbs of dignity i have left.

My sense of dignity is rapidly declining, as my body becomes more frail. I would hate to end up,like,my mother who died in her own filth and relied on full time care..We wouldn't allow our beloved pets to die like this without dignity and yet we allow humans to die in awful circumstances. I still have enough time to see out plan B, otherwise i will end up dying like my mother did.

I'm not suggestng it should! Not in these circumstances. It's just sad and hopefully one day it won't be that way. But that's just not our time.

I am going sooner than I thought as apparently IC couldnt give a S@@@ about who buys their product, plus I have a workable plan to do it where I live... which is good for my dignity but harrowing also as I thought I would have more time. I so relate to the feeling a member of here posted before she passed. She said 'its weird that I can feel the walls closing in on me now.' So relate. It's all so surrealle but I am also angry that there is no hope in my current life. This is not something anyone wants to do.x

Estou indo mais cedo do que pensei, pois aparentemente a IC não poderia dar um S@@@ sobre quem compra seu produto, além disso, tenho um plano viável para fazê-lo onde moro ... o que é bom para minha dignidade, mas também angustiante como eu pensava Eu teria mais tempo. Eu me identifico tanto com o sentimento que um membro daqui postou antes de falecer. Ela disse 'é estranho que eu possa sentir as paredes se fechando sobre mim agora.' Então relacione. É tudo tão surreal, mas também estou com raiva porque não há esperança na minha vida atual. Isso não é algo que alguém queira fazer.x
