Do you ever wonder if people you know are also on here?

Sometimes when I come across a username or a post that reminds me of someone I know in my life I wonder if it's them. Anyone else is ever think that?

I do not know very many people in real life, but of course there is a chance of people that you know being on here. We live in a world with unlimited potential for suffering after all, and I believe that in a world like this wanting suicide can be perfectly rational. To me it is not surprising that so many people are suicidal. I wish you the best.

Yes, I've worried about this many times since I have a lot of guilt with one person and know she could easily find this site. But she has things to live for and much more potential than she realizes so I hope she can live. Unfortunately I talk mostly the same as I have in the past, just even more dull, so I think I could be recognized. But at this point I really don't foresee myself lasting long. If not hanging, I'll use SN or something else. In some ways if I was found it would be nice to apologize. I'd be sad to see her or anyone else on here, but I can understand why as I'm here myself.

I never thought about that, actually. That would be wild if anyone I knew turned out to be here. I do have a singular friend that knows I'm on here (doesn't know my account) who's also weighing suicide as an option, so it would be funny if we followed each other here without knowing each other was... each other.
