i do. I love movies. I've spent days watching movies back to back. It's so much more fun and interesting than real life. The thing is that the limited number of good movies released in a year are surrounded by hundreds of days that suck.

I've stopped making that excuse a long time ago.
I don't even care about the last season of GoT and BCS anymore.

What about fully immersive virtual reality in our lifetime? I wish I had been born where my imagination controlled my reality

It's sad that books and movies have given me fonder experiences than any I've had with other people.

I still have a lot of books, dvd's, and mp3's I'd like to go through but probably won't. And I'd really like to see Avengers Infinity War 2 and Star Wars 9 but probably won't

Not for movies, but I'm currently holding off ctb to see the new iPhone that's coming out and I'm waiting for my new clothes to arrive which I don't know why I even bothered ordering because I'll most likely ctb before I even have the chance to wear them. Wish I could just fucking stop caring about small things like that and making pathetic excuses to hold off.

Nothing but I don't really have any desire for entertainment.
I research things a lot. I have coffee with friends sometimes. Walk the dog. Think.

I have the same wish. The nice thing is we won't care about books, movies after death.

What's so special about the new iPhone? They're all pretty much the same

For me it's always been that "one last book", as well as the odd movie. But I think I'm now past all of that and just want to get on the bus.

Probably nothing. I just get excited about seeing new Apple products and just new technology in general.

Similar to you in a lot of respects. Research things, and think a lot. I enjoy good coffee but on my own, with something to read. I walk a lot but no dog.

I have the same wish. The nice thing is we won't care about books, movies after death.

I think that after we die, we will have the opportunity in the afterlife to know anything and everything we want to know. I could happily do a lot of historical research in Heaven (assuming, of course, that God would be merciful to me and allow me in), and discover books that I never read while alive.

How I wish that could be so, Mara. My biggest, possibly only, regret about leaving this life is all the books I'll never have read whilst still on this earthly plane.

Same with Star Wars and Avengers. But seeing how things are in my life, it's likely I'll be disappointed afterwards. No form of escapism seem to work nowadays. I'm always bored and restless. Nothing satisfy; even movies/songs I used to watch/play in a loop only provides temporary distraction even then I'm always in my head.

Maybe not movies, but other forms of fiction. I have a very strong emotional attachment to fictional worlds and characters, which I think greatly triggered me to end up like this. Real life in itself was always just not good, interesting or colorful enough to feel truly alive, so fiction is like my preferred reality.

They'll defeat the Night King, but the dragons will die, calling it now.
The plot is just so bad at this point, I don't even care how it ends, it will be a cringefest for sure xD

Yes for pretty much all of the stuff discussed here.

I want to watch SW Ep IX and Avengers 4, the Battle Angel Alita movie, and every single Oscar-nominated movie ever except Crash, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and The Boss Baby. I want to watch the next few seasons of RWBY, Bojack Horseman, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and get around to starting (and finishing) Buffy. I want to play the next Pokemon core series game, and the next Yoko Taro game. I want to see Ane Naru Mono out till the end, and read all the awesome comics we've had from Incorruptible to Sandman. I want to read all versions of the Arthurian Legend, from Le Morte d'Arthur to The Once and Future King (and on those lines, I want to get around to seeing Monty Python and the Holy Grail). I want to actually read the Iliad, instead of an abridged version of it.

Hopefully I'll not let this prevent me from doing what I have to for long.

I'm a huge movie buff. I like manga, anime, and fiction book series that have yet to conclude too, which honestly does make me reconsider. But when it comes down to it, my life around my escapism is pretty blah. I figure when I'm dead, I it won't matter that I never saw if Luffy found the One Piece or if Jon Snow or the Kaleesee (spelled wrong, I'm sure) died/became the king and saves Westeros. Hmmm, I wonder how Westworld will end...
