Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Here in Brazil, there was a case of a guy who was playing to kill somebody else and I was asking Chatgpt questions on how to do it in the police came and arrest him. I wonder if the same could happen with us who are planning to ctb

Right now in Europe there is absolutely no way police goes as far as to collect data from AI chatbots to stalk suicidal people.
They do visit if somebody else snitches and signs up with their name. Then they can ask internet platforms for data that they have and follow up. This means public forums that cooperate with law enforcement.
Maybe in the future they will automate it for services like chats, but right now it's a far cry.
Don't know anything about americas though, so sorry if this is out of topic.

I)Don't ask directly how to kill oneself, it's not a good idea at all.
II)Gemini is slightly less censored.
III)Also, noone should plan a method entirely from the scracth ONLY using AI, it is known to sometimes hallucinate. Though I don't believe AI is entirely useless. You just need to use it wisely if you have to use it. If it is a technical question, chemical question, asking it in other contexts may prove to be useful.

Here in the U.S. unless something changes it is a huge NO...NO!
In fact, they have those darn Flock cameras up right now, and all hell is breaking loose about privacy, so using A.I. to scan and/or monitor for suicide would be illegal and also, I feel that the general populace would raise hell, like in the Flock camera issue going on right now.
The suburb that I live in got so much heat about the darn Flock cameras that they are turned off.
NOW, talking to a mental health person even in vague terms, THAT is a different story, YIKES!
