Venting Did anyone’s father ask them to attempt suicide as a favor for them?…. Mine did….

My father asked me to attempt suicide by cutting my wrist, again, to somehow convince my mother to get back to him.

i remember my father told me to not make him waste a rope by killing myself and just jump off the cieling and my mom told me once at my peak suicidal era to go kill myself
and ngl everyday i wake up i regret not dying yesterday

Oh damn. Sorry but I'd tell him "you know what? I have an even better idea"… if he wants someone to attempt to try to get his ex back, the only person that should be attempting is HIM.

i dont have a choice since im under their mercy and i live in a 3rd world country so running away will just fuck up my future so rn even tho my mom is bipolar she is still mentally ill imo and i dont think she holds any malicious intentions after all she sacrificed unlike my dad who did indeed ruin my future over greed and in order not to make himself look or sound wrong he made it al my mistake and him being very terrible and abusive to me is just a way to toughen me up and well it seems he did toughen me up too much to the point i can spend months without talking to him and i cant stand being in the same place as him for more then 10 seconds

I can understand… I wish you a better future and I wish things change for the better.

I grew up in a 3rd world country as well and I can totally understand how imprisonment can feel like.
