Cyanide synthesis

Well, I mean that's interesting and all but it doesn't really seem to be worth the effort for a very painful death? And I have a feeling that unless you have enough lab experience you probably won't notice when something goes wrong (and who knows how many things potentially could...).

I thought about doing the same but everyone seems to say its a very painful death. Personally I am looking at Pentobarbital instead. Though I admit it doesn't carry the same flashy name as 'cyanide'.

I'm not sure why you would go to all the trouble of trying to synthesise Sodium Cyanide, if you had the option to purchase the more peaceful Sodium Nitrite (SN) instead? Or indeed the gold standard of Nembutal (N) if you could obtain it.
