cutting forum?

does anyone know of a similar forum to this but for cutting? i've used tumblr in the past but it doesn't really have a community like here and most questions i've asked just get ignored, also a lot of creeps on there.

The closest I've found is Twitter, as there is a very large community there. Unfortunately it's not the greatest, but at least it's something. I like your user by the way <3

i agree with this, but twt accounts get taken down very often, i wish there was a forum for it like this

There might be some websites on tor specifically for that, or some gore sites for that. There are also telegram groups for that too, those ones barely get taken down.

#shtwt #slittwt etc but yea its twitter so stuff gets taken down a lot. I had my account locked for a SH related tweet which didnt evne have a picture attached. Also most people on there are minors sadly so be careful who u interact with.

I was thinking of setting up a shed mastodon instance but it would either:
a) get no users
b) actually get users but then i'd get annoying suicide prevention warrior journalists on my ass before getting fined one gazillion dollars by OFCOM.

Lol. I just made a post on this. There was just a few scarce things like Tumblr, but nothing major like this website.

I was about to mention selfharm.pics, as it has a forum and isn't just SH pictures, but uhhh. The site seems to have disappeared. Or at least, I can't reach it. There's a link to a Discord server that comes up but I have no clue what's going on there

I'm surprised no one yet has discouraged you from finding forums like this. I know my advice is unwarranted, but I was on them for years and honestly they changed me for the worst. It was all fine in the moment but started to affect me after the fact.

My addiction became 10x more terrible and infinitely more dependent on the validation of others, the way you start to compare your self-harm to the people around you within those communities just makes the addiction start to spiral out of control.

That's not to mention that most of them are on discord servers, obviously Twitter and other spaces like that which aren't moderated to an extent which would appropriately separate adults and children.

Also, so many suicides. I know that we're on a forum for suicide, but forums for self-harm (IME) are often smaller and more tight knit, especially on discord. You become friends. You don't wanna be the guy on a dead persons phone throwing them advice about self-harm.

Again, I'm very sorry as I know this was unwarranted and a lot of people don't like to feel like their choices are being taken away when they receive discouragement (I'm also projecting a bit), but thinking about the way being on those communities destroyed me affects me years later. Even if you don't care and this doesn't discourage you in the slightest, at least I said something haha.

I was hoping to find the answer to this myself. I know it is not right, and perhaps it is not ethical, but I often save my "best work" and when I have the urge, sometimes looking at my collection is enough to satisfy the urge and keep me clean. I would like to share images with others who understand the deal, so to speak. Tumblr or Twitter is not an option for me because there are too many children, and too many people use it as a contest of who can get worse. I want to swap images with someone in the same manner of two men who peaked in high school discussing the highlight of their football season.
