Cutting as a suicide method?

I'm living in Europe so I can't access a gun. I'm too much of a pussy to hang myself or jump off a building. I nearly went with the suicide bag method until I realised I'd have to get the helium delivered to my door & my parents would see it. Overdosing also has a pretty high survival rate. I'm planning on getting really drunk and applying a numbing cream to my skin and once numb, cutting myself and bleeding out. Obviously it's bound to be pretty messy but I'll do it in the bath. I don't know exactly which veins/arteries to cut though. Slitting my throat seems terrifying, I'd rather cut my arms/legs.

Pretty painful way to die. The adrenaline will wake you up. You'll likely panic and stumble around a bit.

Getting really drunk is a bad idea, you need a steady hand to do this properly. You'll just injure yourself badly...

Speaking from experience, if you have another method, you should really consider that before cutting.

We had surgical precision hitting a carotid artery and it still didn't work. Wrists just hurt like a bitch and don't actually lose you enough volume. And don't get me started on healing such scars in public life… ugh.

I agree with the others, It isn't a reliable method and many people have had failed attempts from trying to do it. It is very painful too.

Well it does work given all the people who successfully killed themselves doing it. But I think most of the time you'll just end up in an ER getting stitched then sent to a psych ward so its not worth trying imo

Dont do it. Messy and very painful. I have used cutting in the past as a means of self harming . I found the pain from cutting as relief but was very messy.

I've lived thru enuff death / suicide 2know its gonna be messy, baby! Blood n bits of bone/ brain n shit n piss n vomit n bruises n tears n sweaty sickness... fuckit, I'm gonna go out with the biggest blood smear possible (not hurting anyone else in my attempt is quite sad /sobering) what with my serial killer tendencies that r back now I'm off lithium.. - but achievable. Could chuck myself into my combine harvester - but then who would look after my livestock??! Responsibility sucks. Maybe my pigs can eat me.. today's lesson kids is that suicidal junky fuckheads r destructive, but happy normal supposedly well adjusted people can be truly sick n evil also (they just hide it better) so yes it's a mess & I'm ranting cos I'm soberly insignificant::cutting is a great method (the best arterial spray is not from a cutthroat razor, but a circular saw, ask nick cave!) That romantic 4eva sleep appeals to my alternative /goth sentimentalities! Ugh.
