To be blunt, I am unable to relapse with self-harm or engage with CBT given my current living circumstances. I moved in with my significant other, but I didn't realize just how frustrating it would be to not be able to let out stress in the only way I know how, and I am going insane. It's been months since I have last cut, but it's all I can think about anymore, especially with the suicidal thoughts getting worse and worse (as always, it feels like).
Does anyone have any suggestions for SH alternatives? I thought about wearing a rubber band and snapping it against my arm, that people wouldn't really notice that. I also thought about cutting back on eating/starving myself when possible, something else no one would really notice for awhile.
I miss cutting, but you gotta do what you gotta do when you can't escape.
