Would a Turtleneck be good for padding when just erecting the collar over the nose and ears and putting the noose around your neck?

I've thought about using that for padding before, but the ones I have access to are too thick imo. What I'm using, is a thin white t-shirt as padding. I'll be going full suspension when I have the perfect chance to.
