Carbon monoxide suicide in a car

I apologize for my English, but I'm Italian. Is there any Italian here?
I had thought that the only painless way to die was to commit suicide with the car gas, perhaps by connecting a pipe to the muffler. Carbon monoxide should kill slowly and painlessly. I'll probably do it in September along with two other people. What do you think? Tips?

I don't think it is a good idea because cars nowadays have catalytic exhaust pipes that will prevent the formation of CO. It is always possible to produce CO using the dehydratation of formic acid with sulfuric acid, however it is a difficult setup that involves strong acids so it's often advised to skip it if you are not experienced in handling chemicals.

If the car is old, it might be possible. But I would advise against it as well since you can't be sure of the CO ppm concentration unless you test it. Dying from suffocation in exhaust fumes will without doubt be very painful.

With pure CO it's true, but not with a mix of CO2, NOX and SO2. Those gases will irritate (especially the two last ones) your lungs and cause pain.

A friend of the family ctb like this in the 80's and I thought it sounded good but looked into it and doesn't seem possible now.

I read on internet that disposable bbq are good for ctb but i dont know will 5 of them wich is 2.5kg in car good enough?

I m not sure is carbon monoxide exausth from vehicle is posible because i have car euro 4 and i dont know is it posible to ctb with these modern new cars?
