Does closing my car well enough to prevent any leaks, and connecting my exhaust to the interior or even burning good amount charcoal inside of it, will have a good success rate if nobody find me in the next hours ?
I read somewhere it is something painless, and I would like to leave in peace, unconscious

Car exhaust hasn't worked for like 50 years. Catalytic converters. Charcoal in a car (after it's done smoking) works all the time.

Even if there is some amount of CO emissions, these types of heaters burn very efficient. It would be a slow accumulation of CO, and it might never reach lethal levels. It's just too slow. There are better ways of generating CO, imo.
