Can't be bothered...no motivation...no energy...I could try to improve things...but just can't be bothered...

I used to be so driven and motivated but now I have no energy. I know how you feel.
I don't see the point in anything more. I really wanted to work, be an adult and be independent but now I don't see it happening anymore. When people tell me about an available job vacancy I just don't care anymore.

I feel you... I have no energy to recover, I'm so tired of failing, so tired of being tortured by my illness.

I can't be bothered to do the most 'basic' things necessary to live life in the modern world. Getting a driver's license, going to job interviews, socializing with family and co-workers, studying, cleaning, bureaucracy, blah blah blah... I get frustrated just by thinking about these things. I seem to be fundamentally incompatible with modern civilization. Everything is exhausting and I don't care to change my outlook.
So I would have to force myself to do things I absolutely despise day after day, year after year, decade after decade, until finally the sweet release of death comes in old age. No thanks. Let's not procrastinate dying, and speed things up a little.

at least you;'ve been offered a job so try to pull yourself together but beware if you dont like the job you will be back to square one i know that because it happened to me before.

I lack the energy to do anything too. Everything just seems so pointless to me. Every task that we do in this life is just passing time until we die. Nothing matters really. Most of the things that humans do on a daily basis is just so mundane and boring to me. I feel very tired, I just want sleep.

My mum will tell me about a company that has a job vaccany and she would encourage to apply. This week she told me that the local supermarket is currently hiring workers.

I am 24 and have never had a job I will be competing with thousands who have worked all their lives. No employer will ever hire a 24 year old that has never worked. Everyone has had their first job at 18 or when they were teenager.

Nobody has had their first job at 24 .

Late 20s here and never had a job. Keep trying. I got very lucky in that someone helped me to get an interview (but I think I fucked it up nonetheless, but will try again for that same role if it returns)
