I know some people on here will recommend taking benzodiazepines when taking sn but I don't have access to any of those but I have a good amount of gabapentin. To alleviate the anxiety and bring comfort, you think I'd be fine taking ~5-6,000 mg when I take sn.

I found this but I'm not sure if it will help. Maybe a little with the anxiety but I don't know what the dosage would be.

Gabapentin isn't usually used to treat anxiety alone. More often, it's given to ease anxiety symptoms for someone who also has depression or bipolar disorder. (Anxiety is commonly comorbid with depression and bipolar.) The reason is that it may not be effective for just anxiety.Oct 22, 2021

Gabapentin is mostly for pain. It affects your pain receptors as well as your mood, however it will not be enough to relax you the way you envision. The only experience I really have is with benzos, but I'm sure there are some natural calming remedies out there.

Lots of love and may you find peace, wherever you go. x

Well I was thinking that I would do that just to make the process a little more pleasant and I was also hoping to also be smoking plenty of weed. I've read that what you're taking only matters only insofar as it negatively interacts with an antiemetic and it doesn't seem to do that. But yknow I have tried a couple benzos and ik what you mean. Its definitely not gonna tranquilize me like that.

I've heard that gabapentin does sedate and relax you a lot at high doses. People often use it to get high and I will prob be using it when I sn
