I did that in the spring. Now i drink regularly again, though not much. I'm not happy that I'm doing it, though I AM happy whilst I'm doing it. I know there will be a price to pay, but I'll probably have to pay that price anyway and I need something to help me through the isolation of illness and lockdown.

I feel you. I broke my sobriety over a year ago, now I'm at at the point where I can't picture life without the effects of some substance.
But I don't care anymore, life is shit regardless of whether I'm sober or nor. Might as well abuse the fuck out of some drug and enjoy the effects while I can.

I'm not really sure how guilty I should feel
I think I get that. For me, it's not like I need to feel guilty because of the impact it has on anyone else. It's just me. I'm not sure if I should feel guilty either. Guilt is a shit and utterly pointless emotion. And yet we still feel it.
