• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

This is probably being experienced by many I'd assume, but I'm not sure. It doesn't matter what I'm doing or who I'm talking to, I'm just never really there, like physically I'm sure, but my mind is slipping, it's always somewhere else. Recently more people have been asking me what's wrong, because I guess I sometimes just stare into the distance mid convo and completely forget what I was about to say. It seems like my mind is often just not present, not where it should be. Mby I'm also just dissociating more, I don't know

I'm that way too. Being present makes me want and expect things from people, which almost all the time leads to pain and disappointment. I keep my mouth shut these days, especially in a group hangout or something. Being dissociate actually helps me to regulate my nervous system

I've been at least casually distracted my entire life, even during relative lulls in depression. I don't dissociate in the medical sense; I just live in my own head to an unhealthy degree.

Since my neurological issues have developed, I often lose my train of thought and have to stop speaking mid-sentence in addition to my normal behavior, which has made me a fairly undesirable person to interact with.

I just keep saying "uh-huh" and "yeah" but I'm not listening or absorbing any information becuase I know I won't need it soon.

Yeah same. Though there was a time, when I even enjoyed arguing with people about certain topics, but I don't anymore. Idk, it's just not worth it. And yeah I agree, being present leads to you having certain expectations and just makes everything more painful in general. I really wish I could be on Xanax all the time, I don't want to process my thoughts

Same, though I guess not exactly for those reasons, but I just can't bring myself to care anymore
