• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I feel as if rope cant be the only thing to use but whenever any alternative is suggested it's almost immediately dismissed. Instrument cable perhaps?

The thing is, there are very few things in the shape of a rope that are designed and rated for holding ~60+ kg. Cables might work, but the manufacturer won't tell you how much weight they can hold because why would they test that? So you won't know if it'll work until it's too late. A thick cable (say, a 1/4-inch audio cable) with a braided exterior might do it, but why bother when you can buy a 1/2-inch polyester rope for $30 that's rated for 100 kg?

Avoid rubber-lined cables; the rubber can easily fray and rip under tension.

Keep in mind, if it's too thin it'll hurt like hell. The ideal is 1/2 inch, or 10-12mm. Hope you find your peace, friend

Kate spade used a scarf and I'm pretty sure Chester used a belt. So yeah. There are a few options.

I've seen vids of scarfs being used for FSH, so they could likely work for partial

Anthony Bordain used a bathrobe belt, Robin Williams used a belt, and i think Chris Cornell used a stretchy exercise band. so other things work. hope we both find peace soon.

Prisoners use sheets and clothing too. so lots of things would likely work.
