i am in favor of voluntary human extinction. the worlds going to shit because people with too much power keep make fucking stupid decisions and we have made a hell for ourselves, why are we bringing more people into it? future children are just gonna live in a hell world full of surveillance and natural disasters, why would i bring another being into this world just to be a wage slave or want to CTB themselves. i don't know why we haven't stopped already, this world is only going to hell.
or maybe im being too pessimistic. No im not we are all fucking idiots nobody's going to do anything good and we are all fucked one way or another

I am LOL. The fact that the child is to be born without their consent is the biggest fact that make me anti-natalist. Like I was at peace somewhere, existed in a kind of form, then 2 random strangers decided to have sex cause they want to have a cute little baby and BOOM. I was brought into this fuck up life. Under capitalism, procreation is purely to provide a labour force and nothing more.

And the parents don't even consider that this cute little baby gonna grow up someday and gonna become its own person with all the baggages. No, all they see is a docile pet-like baby that function more as a decoration for their selfish needs.

Bringing a child to this world is really so fuck up and selfish. It's aint divine and god's gift and none of that bullshit. It's a responsibility and a result of having unprotected sex. I think more people should have adopted if they want to build a traditional family instead.

Wonder if anyone feels the same way?

I feel like this dude waking up everyday. I'm also child-free cause I know I'm too fuck up to raise another human being and give them a good life, so not even adoption for me.

I despise the parents that don't take any accountability. Maybe they are abusive and batshit crazy, and are in poverty, or having health issues, but still decide to birth children and tell them that this is a shitty life that their children deserve, and they should be grateful for it. No, fuck all that

The unfortunate reality is that our world isn't designed to support new life as it is currently.

Most families struggle to make ends meet without a new baby to feed, clothe, provide for, and nurture. Bills are crushing, time is nonexistent, and an infant/child is a huge investment that lasts for eighteen years at minimum.

It's a gamble, too. You have no idea who an infant will turn out to be. You cannot predict whether that child will grow up to be kind, or to be a monster. You have no way of knowing what could happen to that child, or if the life you offer is even one they'll want to live.

Most importantly- that child has no choice in the matter. They have no consent. They are forced to grow up in the world and circumstances you provide for them- if their family provides one at all. The amount of people I know who have virtually no support system, no clothing, no food, and no access to proper education is astounding. People treat having children & reproducing as an OBLIGATION and expectation rather than the life-altering change it truly is. It's not some game, or some whimsical choice. Not enough people weigh the pros and cons, and not enough people understand that sometimes, the 'baby fever' will leave devastating consequences for both parent and child.

i agree with what everyone else said. bringing someone into this world without their consent is terrible. especially knowing how much pain and suffering there is, idk how anyone can still think its ok to keep creating ppl. i've been told this way of thinking is wrong, its so frustrating that no one understands. theres still happiness in this world, but i personally think the positives cant out way the negatives. i think a lot of ppl can agree that the world would be much better without humans. theres so many children who need to be adopted, i think everyone who wants kids needs to stop reproducing and take in the children who are already here the human existence is vile
