I looked after my ill mother for 4 years (dementia) which meant no job, no income they give you 60 quid a week here (lol). It broke me apart but I love her so much, I'd do it again. Problem is im so screwed financially now, left with a house I need to pay bills on. Been applying for jobs but heard nothing. I'm so close to giving up. I did my bit for her so I can at least die with the knowledge I did a good thing.

anyone else got money woes?

Yes. I have huge problems with work and money it's my biggest (but not only) reason for wanting to ctb. I'm so, so, sick of worrying about it, I can't even fully express it to you. I just want to get out of this sick, hunger games-esque, nightmare of a world where scarcity is always looming over me.

Some years ago, I owed lots of money because I wasted a huge amount of it due to gambling and alcohol.
I had to work my ass off and was able to give all the cash back but it really made me suicidal.

Now, I still wanna ctb but for other reasons such as being forced exist in this pointless reality.

Sure lol -$3M in a year from gambling. Lost $400,000 just a few days ago. Gambling addiction will RUIN your life, and there really seems to be no way to break away from it. I was clean for months, then a random burst of wanting to gamble and I'm wiped out.

I'm guessing UK, but yeah.... if you're a single man with no partner/kids, then the government/benefits system isn't interested (from my experience), and if you've living with family (even if you're going to be homeless in a few months) then housing will ghost you worse than a Tinder match -_-

I have a lot of student debt, but luckily the terms are pretty good. And it gets cancelled (not sure if that's the right word) when you die so no one else but me is burdened by it, so that's nice.

I have a lot of money on credit cards thanks to spending binges, another aspect of the bipolar lifestyle
