Whenever there is a suicide there will be an investigation into the death.
This means the police will go through all my devices and even call my friends and family asking them about my death.
They don't just stop at interviews, they will go through all medical history including intimate details disclosed in therapy sessions.
In the UK, this is all published in a publicly available report. There will be an inquest that any member of the public can attend, including journalists who can go onto publishing articles about my death.
In UK law, there is no expectation of privacy in death.
I feel humiliated and exposed. Not only am I denied a peaceful means of exiting this world but also cannot be afforded any dignity in death as well.
