Venting Anyone else feel like everyone irl is growing distant from each other?

My friendships always feel so surface level or superficial. If we ever discuss our feelings we're always holding back, it feels like our generation is terrified of trust and connection

I've definitely lost some friendships recently, for apparently no reason at all. I know myself that I am an over thinker and think for the worst, but it seems like too much of a coincidence at this point. So, you're not alone in feeling this way.

I agree. There is so many things wrong with society. Most are afraid to be themselves or to show their feelings. Society tells us we should be machines, to be happy ans grateful all the time. Time changes. I feel like technology has make a lot of people more detached and they trust even less. It is hard to create connections these days. I don't even try them. And if i see people not having the same level of engagement I have, I end the conversation right back.

Yeah people are too distracted with their own lives to care about yours
