You mean the one from that popular euthanasia organization? No, but I thought about using a CO generator, a heartbeat sensor and an arduino to release co in my room when I fall asleep.

If this would work anyone in the same building would also be in danger- there is no way to shut this off conveniently once you ctb.

Is this different from the Sarco device?
Because that thing looks sort of terrifying..idk that I'd want to go out that way, contained inside a futuristic coffin.
It's supposed to be a more humane and easy death, but idk if I could get past the idea of being restricted inside a pod while I'm dying, even though I may actually feel more discomfort and suffocation while I'm free-moving in an open space (with something like SN.)

you're right. It's one of the reasons why I abandoned the "project". I considered an exhaust system, but still, the outside would be in danger
I admit it was fun, though. I remember even mentally designing a safety interlock system in case I woke up in the middle of the process

You have to assemble it yourself. The parts are, apparently, easily available from amazon. It looks simple enough even for someone as useless practically as I am. There is a exit international video demonstrating it's assembly for monoxide. If i can find it again, ill post it.

I'm not remotely handy, so it would have to be a pretty intuitive design/assembly process in order for me to get it right. That's why I was excited for the Rebreather… but that turned out to be a scam.

It does look easy. The old version is in the pph handbook, but this newer version involves a large water container, a glass jar, some plastic tubing, a breathing mask - all off amazon. The acids ar apparently easy to get too. Apart from that , i am a bit sketchy on the details. I saw the video once, so its out there somewhere. Try searching for it too. I think itll be on vimeo. Cogen + exit international - would be my guess.

If you did this in a garage with a car exhaust going into the car and no one else in the car this could work without a danger to anyone else- this is done all the time- you really don't need to worry about the outside. Of course if someone sees a car running in a closed garage they may call the police about this since this is a commonly known method.

This is certainly not recommended, and will very likely result in brain damage (something that can take weeks before it show up) Modern cars (even without the catalytic converter) have very good combustion so the ppm will still be at levels not suitable for ctb.
