  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I usually stay calm each day by drinking a lot of herbal teas, specifically green teas, camomile, and peppermint tea. Those three are known for calming effects. While they don't make the feelings disappear, they help me keep them under control throughout the day. At university I tried weed and alcohol briefly, but I found that those made me feel worse once their affects wore off.

With meditation techniques we can focus on something else. The more I focus on something else, the more (in that moment) I am less aware of emotional pain. It's not what you asked, but there's also the ability to feel emotions whilst having them bother us less (bother us less whilst focusing on them, or whenever they're in the background). There's a meditation thread in my signature!

In my experience, you can't. I've realized that life is about feeling. It really helps me when I do inner child healing. I've realized all the sinking depression and chronic pain in my life gets a relief when I go into my childhood and cry about it. I think the first few times you do it, it's going to be the worst purges of your life. Everything will hit you like a train. But I have so much relief afterwards. I feel like I have to do it a lot, but it's way better than the constant migraines and depression I had 24/7. I noticed that depression is actually from a lack of feeling. It's because there is usually past trauma all stuck down there, and because it's not felt or acknowledged or love, it takes over. Then you start getting tons of anxiety and depression and migraines and whatever chronic pains.

There isn't really a way to stop feeling emotions, but it is possible to distance yourself from them. The thoughts that are coming into your head need to be stopped dead in its tracks, and replaced with something else. It could be anything really, just stop yourself from indulging in bad thoughts. Just like being on a diet. You don't eat it and there is no "but... :("... you don't think it and the thoughts end exactly when you noticed them.

I used to go for very long walks and listen to music. The physical activity used to wear down some of the tension plus, I'd be very tired when I got home.

Strenuous physical activity I find also distracts my brain. On how different parts of me hurt and how out of breath I feel.

Alcohol tends to numb things for me but, probably not so healthy.

Take 100mg DPH, You'll feel terrible and might want to feel like you want to kill people at first but once the tolerance build you'll feel nothing at all.
the music enhancement are there and masturbating is better if you're a man(around 100mg are called "fap dose").
They're OTC and very cheap where I live, in US it's benadryl and costs bit more. but still affordable even for teenager.
I don't recommend it though, I'd rather recommend DXM for OTC thing that can actually deal with your mental problem by being psychedelic-dissociative.

I've been smoking weed for the past 5+ years and it has been my saviour, truely! Sadly, not legal in the UK (which needs to change imo) however, I will do whatever I need to do to keep my thoughts at bay. I've tried anti-depressants and I felt no difference, I've tried therapy and that didn't work either (knew it wouldn't). I'm not the type that likes to discuss my issues to someone else. It constantly made me feel like a burden and pity party and that made me feel even worse just thinking about it.

Although they say weed is not a cure for depression, it certainly can change your emotions (in a really positive way). This is why I think they should legalise it in the UK, it's long overdue! It's relatively affordable (assuming you have average paying job). For example, I could have a terrible day, awful thoughts running through my head and after 10 minutes of a few tokes, those emotions disappear. I'd sit there, feeling slightly detatched from the outside world, I'd listen to music and I'd be in my element and in a better head space. The world I was angry at would no longer be the case. If only it was a forever lasting thing.

I know you said you wanted to feel no emotion, but I don't think there is anything out there that would make you feel completely emotionless. Maybe changing the negative emotions into positive emotions.

Currently on a detox at the moment but when I feel life is getting too much, then I will go back to smoking. I do this on and off and it does help me.
