I see a lot of people struggling on obtaining SN, but in my country, it was fairly easy and cheap to get. However, getting benzos (oxazepam) is where the problem begins for me. I'd most likely have to go see a doctor to hopefully get prescriptions for it. So I was wondering if benzos are 100% necessary for the SN routine, and if it'd be less peaceful if I didn't take them. Also wanted to know if there's an easier to get alternative for it.

I'm not sure exactly what oxazepam does - but if it's anything like other benzos used recreationally (xanax, valium, rivotril) - no it seems they are not necessary.
They may help you dull your SI initially, but from what I've read you'll for sure feel your heart speeding up and they won't prevent you from throwing up (you'd need antiemetics for that). I think mainly they'd be useful for the steps prior to ingesting SN, and a bit after that. If you are sure in your resolve you won't NEED them - but thery could provide comfort. That's from my understanding after reading accounts, the method etc.. I haven't tried this method personally.

Also people on this website talk about using a large quantity of benzos to achieve loss of consciousness before SN's effects kick in, but that contradicts with the fact that you need to stay conscious incase you throw up your first glass and even sometimes the second glass, inspite of AEs it's quite likely you'll still throw up. You need to stay awake so that you can drink successive backup glasses of SN.

Don't know what's up with that.

tbh you can still die with low doses/even if you vomit. think that even if you throw up your first cup as long as you aren't found for the next few hours the attempt could still succeed. you are right that antiemetics can't stop you from vomiting though
