I was watching an episode of "Saving Hope" where the spirit of someone who had tried to commit suicide by gun but ended up brain dead wanted her organs to be donated to make her feel like she had made a difference. It got me to thinking about what a shame it is how many organs go to waste that could help others. If only I could give my life to save the lives of many others it would not only give me some purpose and comfort, alleviate my suffering on earth and at the same time potentially save/improve so many other lives. How nice it would be to have the end of my existence result in something so beautiful? Oh how I wish....

Why can't you do just that? That can be set-up ahead of ctb, where you direct any usable organs to go to others after your death. Maybe you can set it up to be found in a short time after death. It may be hard to do. Not sure it's impossible, though.

That's a thoughtful idea. I hate how they charge so much for organ transplants though. Seems like it's only people with amazing insurance can afford them.Similar threads
