akathisia and bipolar after psych meds

im off all meds and still hopeful about recovery. im only 6 months off all psych meds after four years since turning 15. im hopeful the akathisia could lessen in its symptoms so i could atleast work, maybe live somewhat of a life. im also taking lithium oratate 15mg and niacin which has helped with the tbi esque tantrums i throw sometimes when my akathisia is raping my soul extra hard certain days. anyone else dying because they were put on ssris or psych meds as a kid? how could one not go insane.

Good news, thanks for sharing. Many do not understand that the practice of psychiatric medicine is one of experimentation. They throw something at you and it may be a hit or a miss. They can be well intentioned and still do harm. In the end we have to take control and do whatever experimentation we need to make things better. I am glad to hear you have some degree of control.
