Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I tried and failed cbt with pills and alcohol. I am getting ready to Sn this time. I am going blind and I know I can't handle it so I know I eventually need to sn. Until I have what I need to SN, I don't know how to do the two things at once - live like I'm going to be ok and I'm getting better with dealing with going blind while I'm actually planning and committed to sn.

I'm terribly sorry about you going blind. I've had very minor vision loss and that alone scares me.

For the longest time I used working hard as a cope and that is one thing that will keep normies off your back. If you are part of the corporate system people ignore you and as long as you show up with the cash you can go about your business.

Have you considered going to church or something for your local religion? I'm not religious but I think if you did this it might make your community think you are using what is seen by many as a "healthy " coping mechanism .

I'm unsure of your culture but the religious angle might buy some time and keep your people off your back

Thank you for your thoughts. I'm agnostic so religion won't work for me unfortunately :-( it was a good idea though. Sorry about your vision issues.
