advice related to private conversations on this site

I am new here and would like to ask ' what advice would you give to a person who is new and who started to have private conversation? Is there something new people should particularly avoid while having private conversations ?

Less than on the open forum, I'd say. What you say in PMs are almost your entire responsibility. Just read the rules and don't be rude with people.
