Advice on plan, using a gun

I don't live alone and it isn't my gun, I have access to it though and it's a M9 with normal rounds. I don't want to leave a huge mess so I was planning on wrapping most of my head in a towel to catch fragments (I will also try doing this outside). I live in the country side and it would take the ambulance awhile to get here, my worry is if I miss my shot to the brain stem how long would it take for me to die? And if the ambulance arrives could they prevent me from dying for atleast 30 min before they get to the hospital?, or should I try to tie my body to a tree to make it even harder to transport?. Would it help to take any pills or drugs? (I have some calming aids to help prevent any flinches!). I just don't want to end up with no face and or being a vegetable. It is also hard to get the timing right with nobody at the establishment. And I will call 911 and leave my address So nobody has to see my body (that knows me) and the neighbors might hear and call anyways so I mine as well do it right? (Don't want to be that selfish to force trauma on those close to me)

Dude ur using someone else's gun? That could get them into trouble. Idk much about this but I think u need different rounds than normal and most people who talk about this try to use a shotgun? Idk but I don't think u really researched about this. And I'm not sure of having a towel on ur head will do much
Wouldn't the towel protect you because the bullet has to hit it first? And I don't think tying ur self to a tree will do anything to really slow down the emt… I'm sure they have sheers

if i was going to shot my self in the brain i'd go deep into forest to do it i guess you be dead within 30 mins at most if your lucky within a few minutes you might immediately lose consciousness just be sure it's what you really want

I checked and they are hornady hollow point rounds so they will do something!!, and the towel would be wrapped around the back of my head not in my mouth, and you're right they do have sheets so I would need to go somewhere where it's hard for a ambulance to get. Even if I missed i should still lose consciousness after a few minutes at most, and be dead by 30.
