It feels extremely strange having no will to live but strong emotion towards helping others. Do you guys feel seeing abuse and having no way to help makes everything worse? I'm forced to live with my girlfriend with her parents currently and they beat their autistic son regularly whenever he gets frustrated and hits electronics on his face, for the sake of saving the electronic. All while calling him stupid. My girlfriend and I can calm him down very easily because we don't hit him or call him stupid but this created a rivalry apparently and now he's getting beat atleast twice a week for uncontrollable actions. They also poison our dog with chicken bones and chocolate, then yelled at her for crying over having to take the dog to the vet because she empathizes with others. This leads to extremely stressful occurrences. It feels compounding to take the weight of others.
