How would you feel about this? Is this something you would want?

I'm an extremly curious person so I would probably show up.

It sounds like a good idea in theory but I'd imagine it being ruined by a police raid or some pro-life protest group.

What would we even do there? Talk amongst one another like a support group but with too many people? Are you thinking there's going to be booths covering each method of suicide? Merch lol? Suicide celebrities? Performance with loud music?

If suicide was mainstream then having a convention maybe possible however since it's not it's going to be a controversial disaster.

I can see how on paper this would be interesting but I can also see how this could get real cult-y real fast. All that needs to happen is one group of people make a suicide pact and we all go down legally so I don't think I would go to one.

If any of us are still around we should have it next year on World Suicide Awareness day, could be a good argument with the authorities to let it go ahead on that day.

I suppose Netherlands Belgium or Switzerland would be good options.

I've said it before and I'll say it again- the level of compassion genuine kindness here. If we were all on an island together there would be so many hugs and others there for us we would be happy! We are a group of broken people but a kind word from another broken person does make us feel... accepted.

Count me in I'll have to sell some body part to afford it thought.

I used to talk to a guy on the Jaguar owners club site , he had same spec car as mine (almost) he seemed ok until he drove up to one of local classic car club meets , he was a right pompous, anoying know it all dick head lol
I`m not saying any of us are but you know what they say "never meet your heroes"
I also think a lot of us dont socialise in real life and would feel uncomfortable.

That could be very interesting, but unrealistic too I think. Police will just wait a the meet point to arrest every one and send us to psychward.
Maybe not in the country where event happen, but with photo or other media identify peoples to wait them to return to their original country, then... catch them all.
