• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

LONG NIGHT

The way I must go
It is so inhumane
And it is full of fears
and it is full of pain

And the way I must live
It is so inhumane
And it is full of fears
and it is full of pain

What is left then?
To live or to die?
I'm trapped inside
Neither dead nor alive

In the blink of an eye
I hope the knot's quite tight
I am ready for a deep sleep
For a long...
long night

I've seen a few poems here but they haven't quite captured my own situation, but this one does- especially the first three verses. The last verse is also good but I am just holding out hope that I can go to an afterlife where things are better- because of this I would probably write the last verse with this hope in it somehow. But this captures the situation very well.

At times, I like to picture an afterlife where things would be better. Where I would not care for much. Life would feel complete with things as simple as being surrounded by nature, by a lot of fruits and by true friends. A place where peace would reign . There would not be fears of others. There would be not wars, no violence, no prejudices. šŸ–¤

Hope it's not highjacking your thread, but I don't want to make my own and I can't think where else to share. I like to vent through writing sometimes too so here it goes.

Twisted Trees

Twisted, twisted little tree
When did you grow so big?
Crooked branches, stern your trunk
Rotten fruits from your seed

Twisted, twisted little tree
How could you ever be free?
Rotten roots dig beneath
Disease of earth from which you feed

Day and night, Sun and Moon
To their light you swoon
Reaching up, mighty tall you grew
Yet no closer are you

Little big tree, running away from me
Poison your sap, wither your leaves
It's your time, don't you see?

Thank you for sharing your poetry. I can relate a lot, I feel very trapped in this world and I just want to sleep as well, to become nothing forever. I hope that you find relief from your suffering. I wish you the best.
