A Friend

I was like why does this guy look soo familiar?

A guy I am working with that I met for the first time today is a friend of mine from a long time ago, like twenty one years ago!

We could not talk long today at the time because of everything going on, it was a very busy day. Him and I could be working together now for a long while though.

How cool is that?

Most friendships have to start with a slow process of sharing information and getting to know each other. A rekindled friendship has many advantages including the conversation starter, "What have you been doing the last 20 years".

You are right, and it was an instant connection like we were both back in time for a second, is how I felt.

That was the first question too, after we both realized... I am amazed, actually!

He would have been the absolute last person I ever expected to see. I have not thought about him or our friendship for probably close to twenty years. We were not the best friends, but we were close friends for about four years time, back when we were in our late teens and early twenties. I will probably see him all of the time now...
