Wow thanksgivings already over for me.
I've spent the past few days reflecting and working on my goals, I did what I set up to do today and followed through. I'm satisfied if not a bit bored haha.
I also inked another part of my comic so I'm happy! Idk not much happened today, just looking forward to seeing my boyfriend and the new year, though I had a conversation today that gave me hope.
Back in September I was talking to my friend about how I couldn't stand being with my family any longer that I was considering going to a woman's homeless shelter, and she said she'd give me a place to stay.
Since than she's been in the process of buying her first property and perhaps I was thinking too deeply but I told her if she ever felt like it was too overwhelming I'd understand if she couldn't help me in that way. But she said that that hadn't crossed her mind and if it did I'd be the first to know.
I'm grateful I brought it up sooner than letting it build up inside. so it's a small victory I'll appreciate. I want to become more upfront, it's a small step forward.
Honestly, didn't think I'd be saying this so soon but life really is looking up.
I hope everyone who comes across my posts can find one thing to be happy for^^
