• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Probably kidney failure, thanks to years of meds that were meant to make me happy and normal but instead just piled on enough side effects that helped to destroy what quality of life I had left.

My entire immediate family has had some type of cancer lol. Caused fatalities as well. My dad's doctor said it wasn't genetic on his side, but if my mom, dad, grandma, and grandpa got it, then.. I'll just try to watch my health ig.

I got this recently from ChatGPT. Looking at my age group, suicide is ranked 5th leading cause of death. I survived liver disease (2023), was lucky not to get COVID as far as I know, and my mom is a fighting cancer survivor with a heart condition. To answer your question, I honestly don't know.

From the "Leading Causes of Death" table in NIMH (CDC data), (U.S., 2022):

Age GroupRankCause of DeathNotes
35–441Unintentional injuryAccidents
2Heart disease
3Malignant neoplasms (cancer)
4COVID-19
5Liver disease
SuicideNot in top 5 in this group
45–541Heart diseaseTop cause
2Malignant neoplasms (cancer)
3COVID-19
4Liver disease
5SuicideRanks 5th in this age group

These were for the younger years, fyi.

The majority of deaths are from, heart disease, cancer, and medical mistakes and medicine.

Playing the odds...top 3 causes of death in the US

1) Heart Disease
2) Cancer
3) Accidents - includes suicide

So I guess the odds are on heart disease.

I would think that it'll likely be accidents or health related things (especially later in life, but again, anything could happen at any time randomly too, but just very, very unlikely). I'm in my mid 30's also.

Probably by inappropriately touching danger noodles. I love venomous snakes. My line of research was towards reptiles so encounter is not very rare. I'm respectful of them, but I can be reckless sometimes. Impulsive even.

Most likely natural causes (old age). Women in my family have long lives.

I'm Australian, easily distracted and like to look at wetlands birds, so there's always a chance I could get eaten by a crocodile.

How do you feel about that? I would also likely live a while. That also scares me. Life certainly isn't easy when you're older. And I'd be doing it alone.
