Would you try to go for CTB if you knew you would succeed?

For me personally, the risk of failure is a big factor why I haven't tried really for CTB yet. What do you think?

Yep, 100%. What is keeping me alive right now is the uncertainty of suicide methods. If I had access to a suicide method which is 100% guaranteed to kill me, I'd ctb right now

I've mostly been thinking about full suspension hanging, but I'm too afraid the rope will loose on either anchor or noose side. I don't know why I think so, but something tells me the CTB try will mess up in some way. I believe in God, so maybe there is some divine intervention speaking?

The method I would go for if I were able to, is definitely with firearm. It's almost 100% I would say. But I won't go that way because it's really hard to get one in my country.
I think drowning with weights is so close to 100% there is. What are your thoughts about drowning?

I would definitely more go for it if there was a 100% guarantee of it succeeding but there are other things that would deter me from it. As I am not sure about the existence of an afterlife, I don't want to have regrets from not doing things here before I ctb. If I knew there was no afterlife then I would totally go through with the guarantee successful ctb as I can't have regrets in non existence.

I used to consider drowning with weights and I think I would have done it but the issue in my case is that I'm not really smart enough to know how to weigh myself down in a way that I can't get the weights off me since I know that SI would force me to get the weights off me and swim to the surface (even though I don't know how to swim) asap. Additionally, another factor that I'm scared of when it comes to drowning is the idea of getting caught by somebody and them resuscitating me. Because of these factors, I have been deterred from drowning myself unless if I get extremely, extremely desperate. If I had access to a gun, I would use that instead since there's no way I can be resuscitated from that

All of my failures have been either poor planning or SI. It was never fear (outside of SI, which is not a conscious thought). If you said "go try, you will make it" to me right now I would 100% go for it. I am ready to be done.

I'd personally be long gone if I had the option to simply die in peace and never suffer ever again, all I wish and hope for is to be permanently free from this torturous, unnecessary existence I always saw as the most cruel, terrible mistake, I'd always prefer to not exist than suffer all for the sake of it in this existence just to die in agony from old age, permanent non-existence truly is the only relief for me but more than anything I wish I never suffered at all.

I find it such a terrible tragedy how this existence was imposed that just creates suffering all for the sake of it and problems there was never a need for at all, for me the ultimate problem lies in existence itself which is why I truly only hope and wish for death, only permanently ceasing to exist where all is gone and forgotten about could ever be desirable to me. I find it such a futile, dreadful burden to be enslaved in this existence and I suffer so much from how I cannot just have the option to painlessly die with no risks of ending up in a situation of way worse torture as I only hope to never suffer ever again.
