Would you try DMT before CTB?

The idea of having some insight into what a near death experience feels like before I CTB is kind of appealing to me, I feel like it would be interesting, and I figure why not do it now if I'm about to. Would you guys do the same if you were given the opportunity?

I have the herbs to make up Ayahuasca but I haven't been interested in mixing it up for some reason. I probably won't now because I don't want to catch a glimpse into something that may or may not change my mind about ctb. It is cool to hear all the stories about people who have tripped out on DMT though. Joe Rogan and some of his guest are well into it. They call it the spiritual molecule.
i am afraid of taking anything hallucinogenic in case i see horrible, scary things. i had a friend who saw demons crawling down the walls or something when he tried dmt, if i remember correctly. he seemed fine with the dmt experience and liked parts of it, but i would rather avoid something that could cause that kind of suffering.
I would in the past-not that I'd have any idea how to make it. But now no I'm wayy too scared of stuff like that I think it would just mess me up more. It's the sort of experience I used to long to have but now I think no don't play around with that stuff you are not mentally resilient enough.
I was interested in it for a while. Listened to several podcasts and audiobooks about psychedelics, including DMT, and read a book or two about them as well. I also read a lot of DMT-related posts on Reddit for a while. Ultimately, I've decided that it's not for me. When I used cannabis in the past, I had some anxiety on relatively small amounts of edibles, and I think I'd be at risk for something similar on DMT or similar substances. The potential reward doesn't seem worth the risk to me, in my case.

I would.
I bought a few blotters and I think to play with the idea of writing a epic farewell letter on one or few acid trips.
The last time tripping I had katarsis without closing, the heavy emotions from the trauma remained, there was no relief.
I feel 85% understanding everything in my life and I am running out of substance because I have reached the truths of life. Consciousness is a powerful tool and you can hurt yourself easily with it. Thats why your brain creates defense mechanisms to not be aware of heavy feelings because you would not be able to live.
I find it area of hardcore experiences like jumping into unfamiliar water or if you learned how it works- next rollercoaster ride.
Yes, I would try. Yolo or something.
I would love to take it before I die. I am fascinated about some of the stories I hear from people who take it, and maybe it could be linked to what happens after death? Who knows...

Whatever is going in inside of you if usually what you will experience. Idk how to put that into words properly. I've absolutely never seen demons crawling up the wall. Lol
I've already experienced DMT a couple of times. Great experience. Very intense. I enjoyed it.

I mean there's been a few times it was a but to much.. when it becomes to intense I just surrender and let go... the geometry I see is absolutely breathtaking though.. I guess the experience is different for everyone and depending on the quality and how much you take..

Does this literally mean that if there's more darkness/disturbance inside you than peace you'll be more likely to have a traumatic experience?
lmao additionally, how do you guys even go about finding DMT in the first place? do you just have to have some crazy connections or something?
It's easy to get the plant material that you can extract it from. That's perfectly legal (in the US at least). Though it's illegal to extract dmt from it. Like shrooms. Legal to buy the spores but illegal to grow them.
Anyways...performing the extraction isn't very hard either. Pretty simple actually using what they call a STB method.
The plant material is fairly cheap. The chemicals needed are cheap too and easily found locally at stores. The only thing I couldn't find at local stores was a glass turkey baster. Ordered one online.
Lots of directions online and even a reddit. r/DMTlab Pretty much everything you need to know about extracting can be found there.
I used to read trip reports about dmt on another dmt reddit. Very interesting stuff. I've never done a large enough dose to have a crazy experience. I was too scared too that I would freak out.
Oh and dmt is just about one of the grossest tasting things ever.
I have access to it but have not tried it. Have went on a few deep journeys with some Psilocybin (shrooms) way back. But that was after some pre trip mind prep. This was all before a traumatizing loss of a family member. And prob won't journey again or try DMT.
I had one shroom trip where something negative that occured recent to the trip, that was on the back of my mind. That transpired to a not perfect mind set and caused a few horrible parts of the trip. And shroom trips can last around 7 hours, def don't want to be trapped in a cycle of bad images and feelings.
The Spirit Molecule (DMT) effects your brain different so maybe the trips won't go as bad. Use to spend a lot of time on Erowid studying many drugs, but not anymore. So not sure on how mental state correlates with trip quality.
One thing I will say though, is that after experiencing my 1st hallucination journey, my whole mind set and perception of everything changed. I wish more people could experience the overall experience in a safe legal way.

I really don't want to say this exactly everyone's experience is going to be different. In the past I've been really dark places and have taken psychedelics do they have actually help pull me out of that place I've actually had really amazing times even when I was extremely depressed I was actually a lot better after taking them. And there have been a couple of times that I have had some rather emotional experiences cuz there was things that I was holding on to or emotions that I have built up or trauma and it usually comes to the surface and I have to figure out how to release it and let it go. It's honestly different for everyone I've had experiences where I'm sat there and laughed so hard that I've cried for our street giggling to the point where my head started to hurt from laughing lol. I don't know I think that everyone should try the experience at least once but yeah maybe try to be in a good mental space. DMT is very quick acting. For me it's nothing in comparison to mushrooms or LSD or any of the other ones.

Also someone mentioned above which I'm really sorry they went through that experience they mentioned being stuck in that Loop pretty much I have gone through these experiences before because I wasn't surrendering or whatever it was out at there usually is something painful that happened in my life and I wasn't allowing myself to accept it and allowing myself to feel it so when I get stuck in those Loops what I do usually is go outside and I spend on the Earth and I breathe and I let myself cry and I let myself feel the pain and then I release it and usually after the experience I feel a hundred times better but yeah I've had a lot of very emotionally heavy psilocybin experiences I'm not going to lie to you but those experiences have been the ones that have helped me heal and help me grow the most. Being in a suicidal mindset? Boy I don't know..
I honestly have no idea how some people have so easy access to illicit drugs like acid, lsd, dmt, psilocybin etc....
Sure I would like to do some DMT, but where the f..... would I begin to get it ? The dark web ? No thanks, not interested into messing with shady dealers, paying them in btc or paypal, riks the wares being caught in the customs and then getting arrested as drug traficking....

Liberty caps (psilocybin) grow in UK fields in the Autumn-you just have to do a bit of studying to identify them. DMT I think you just make yourself somehow-you have to learn how to do it. Have no idea how you get LSD (just another name for acid) never tried to get it although I'd probably take it if was offered, don't even know how you get pot! My friends never used it and I had no desire to either. Only interested in psychedelics (psilocybin) but even that is a fine line for me as my mind is not good right now so I'm hesitant to take anything again.
DMT can be very scary, but it's possible that if you are now suicidal that when you take it, afterwards your whole life view is changed and you will live a happy life and not being suicidal anymore.
That's why therapists do studies atm with hallucinogens, because they seem to work in a lot of cases.
It can be great, it can be scary, but yes it can change you for the good. (or maybe the bad, but if you want to ctb anyway...)
My physical body can't be repaired by it unfortunately, else i gave it a go ;)
I'm so sad that I honestly couldn't care less about DMT, or similar.
A year ago, I would probably feel different about it if I had to consider that if I was suicidal, would I want to try it before departing? No doubt, why not?
Now I can see why not. It just doesn't mean anything, nothing means anything anymore.
