Help Would this rope work for partial?

As the title says, do you guys think that this would work for partial? (I'm not sure what kind of rope it is... but I think it's used for curtains)
I'm gonna be using a slip knot too if that helps.

I am not sure, I have not enough knowledge about partial, but this kind of plait on the rope, I do not see that so comfortable for the neck, but could be wrong.

But, you wait a better opinion, there are greats specialists on this method over here.

If people can use shoelaces, I'm sure this will work
